CMI Daily Schedule

7:30 a.m. – Breakfast
8:00 – 9:00 a.m. – Individual practice time
9:00 – 11:15 a.m. – Chamber group rehearsals and coachings
11:15 – 11:30 a.m. – CMI group meeting
11:30 – 12:15 p.m. – Individual sessions with CMI faculty
12:15 – 1:15 p.m. – Lunch
1:30 – 3:00 p.m. – Chamber group rehearsals and coachings
3:00-3:50 p.m. – Artist classes, presentations, optional discussions/topic-based conversations with CMI faculty
4:00 -5:00 p.m. – Individual practice time
5:00 p.m. – Dinner

IMPORTANT DATES

Sunday, June 9, 2024 – Participants Arrive (Evening dinner with CMI Faculty and Green Lake Festival of Music Board Members)

Friday, June 21, 2024 – Final Participant Concert / CMI Celebration (evening)

Saturday, June 22, 2024 – Participants are free to depart

Evening Activities might include:

Concert performances as part of Green Lake Festival of Music series
Attendance at concerts by faculty and guest artists
Group sight-reading sessions
Chamber music performance opportunities
Movie Night

Other Activities might include:

Community performances for service groups, seniors, donors, etc
Master classes

Recreation & Fun

The new Willmore Center at Ripon College features a pool, three fitness studios, a weight room and a cardio balcony. Ripon, WI is a friendly community energized by community celebrations, eclectic shops, tasty cuisine, historic character and natural beauty.

"I think if I were to sum it up, for me it felt like there was more of an emphasis at GLCMI on creativity and exploration rather than just getting a piece learned really well. This was by far the best chamber music experience I’ve ever had and the most incredible and well-spent two weeks of my summer. I’ve never felt so cared for by faculty; I’d return in a heartbeat."
