Two overlapping programs offer great opportunities for singers to explore new and familiar music. The Choral Institute-Festival Chorus (June 20-23) and the Composer Residency-Chamber Choir (June 22-25) are led by Choral Programs Director John C. Hughes.
This year’s Festival Chorus will perform Carl Orff’s thrilling Carmina Burana. John C. Hughes conducts the chorus, two pianos, a bevy of percussionists, and soprano Alisa Jordheim, tenor James Judd, and baritone Jonathan Lasch. The 4-day Choral Institute welcomes anyone who loves to sing to join the Festival Chorus. The pre-concert conversation starts at 7 pm.
